as in the TV series

The standard procedure in skiing establishment seems to be to utilise all days with sub-zero temperatures for making snow with snow cannons. Thereby you are not so much in the mercy of snowing. This is also employed in our neighbourhood with many cross-country skiing tracks.

Thinking about suitable soundtrack, I remembered the TV series that I watched in the early seventies. Also the MAD maganize parody came to mind. According to that, a major part of the episodes was always devoted to showing the detective Cannon "driving around looking grim". I did not look grim while walking from our home to that of my mother-in-law, it was a nice day for walking despite the shortness of the daylight hours.
