shortest day

We went over to Nicola's this morning with the presents. A lovely surprise to see Victor too - he'd finished school yesterday afternoon. After making sure all the presents were packed carefully in the car I went and forgot the cards :-/

Dull and rainy today - picture is the rather empty motorway in the rain, faffed with a little bit to make it a tad more interesting. Nice to think the days will slowly start lengthening a bit now.
