Stonehaven Beach

We had a walk at Stonehaven Beach. We got there using the new bypass, most of which was opened a couple of days previously.

Prior to the new road being opened it would have been necessary to go right in to Aberdeen and then go south to Stonehaven. The route is now almost direct, and the journey takes about twenty minutes less. We were at Stonehaven in about 15 minutes.

We were honoured to have Cosmo with us today. She enjoyed the walk, but didn't get the chance to play on the beach. That may have been a bit of a disappointment.
