full to bursting

Took time to see the peregrines today as its the first full day of retirement (well just a few emails and messages to answer). Its been a long time since I have been to their roosting site but they were still there to greet me and the female had a crop that looked as big as mine after my succession of restaurant meals.
The  retirement emotion hit me today as I realised how difficult it will be to adjust to not checking emails, looking for deadlines and most of all not talking daily to people who have worked for me for over 15 years.
On the other hand I am so ready to enjoy personal time I have so lacked for some years now. This side of it is quite exciting and is a goal reached. I intend to adjust and enjoy as quickly as possible.
