Oh what a day... you know, best laid plans and so on.  Walked Misty in Bitts Park early this morning until she injured herself on some barbed wire which  was hidden in undergrowth by the river.  Initially I thought she had hurt herself on brambles, but the extent of the cut indicates barb wire.  So off to the vets over 10 miles away where she stayed all day waiting to be stitched up.  

Then back into Carlisle to meet a friend.  She was disappointed she didn't get to see Misty.  Then on to the garage to get the car repaired, was told it would take an hour, but they encountered problems..... so going to take more hours, so made a fuss and they gave me a loan car overnight.   Then back to Wigton to collect Misty who's back home now feeling very dopey and on restricted exercise.
