Friday: Strawberry Hill House Twickenham

Up early and down to our favourite Polish Café for breakfast, posting my Christmas cards on the way.
Then on a bus to meet Jo and The Sailor. Spent an enjoyable morning watching Jo unpacking and starting up her beautiful new sewing machine.
Jo and I then went for a tour of Strawberry Hill house and gardens, so much to see, everything very beautiful and lots to talk about.
Late lunch at the property’s café, panini with mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes and pesto, delicious salad then 2 types of cake!! And continued our conversation with a mother and son who are volunteers at the house.
Dinner was at The Beech House, then back to the hotel to relax in preparation for another action packed day tomorrow...
