Impressionist Rainforest
I am truly multi talented...
As a new medium for me, I took a freshly scrubbed canvas and mixed ochre and coffee pigments, combining smooth but thick layers at the base, with splotchy clumps as the rainforest reaches the whitened sky. Scribe tree trunks to the base color as the pigments set, and I've achieved a mythical impression of the rainforest canopy!
Actually, I washed my car at lunch, then drove 2.5 miles on my dirt road in the fog and wet to my garage. My emergency blip of the Imported London Fog was dismal and unimpressive (very authentic, I admit, but entirely unimpressive). This is the image of my driver's side door. The only enhancements are white balancing and sharpening.
Sometimes, my mind runs away with my creativity... :-}}
