Unexpected bonus

On my work treks to London, I always get the same train, which involves a daft o clock start. Today the crew walked through the train offering everyone in standard an upgrade. With breakfast on them. The train was empty given the time of year and we got spoiled rotten. I made a very rubbish card using the first class tablemats and left a tip as a gesture. Turns out this wasn't a common occurrence and the crew dropped by to say thanks. Just goes to show a little appreciation seldom goes amiss.
