Escape Route

After two and a half hours in a windowless room, in a windowless building, lunch was declared. We were free to leave the premises, cleverly located next to a freeway and apartment buildings out of the rest of town. I wandered for a bit and came to these railroad tracks. Farther away I could hear the piercing whistle of the train as it came through town. I waited and finally it did come. I wanted to get on but it was going at a good clip. I went back to the windowless room for another two hours of meetings.
