Crocodile Smile
The disappearance of mantis nymphs from the curry flower buds has been puzzling me. A family of lizards live among the rocks below, but I didn’t think they would be able to climb to the top, a metre or so above the ground. Looks like I was wrong. Lizards are the main praying mantis predators here.
Another glorious morning until early afternoon. Then it all turned very dark, great cracks and rumbles of thunder rolled about the sky, and rain fell, thick and heavy. My 80 litre rain bin, which I emptied into the greenhouse this morning, was soon overflowing again.
