It Snowed Here in Murwillumbah

.....well it hailed anyway.......ice the size of golf balls fell from the sky...I dinna tell a lie...the boy has proof in the freezer.
I took this when it first started and we weren’t panicking too much about our cars........as it got larger we started up a different kind of sweat...flower pots were getting smashed.......our cars were at the mercy of the heavens.

Extra specially humid today Jaiya and I just dripped (definitely not glowing) with sweat as we continue to prepare our house for Christmas and our guests.....scrubbing the decks...heave ho!

Our cars are fine the weather has cooled down and Jaiya is talking and getting excited about sleeping under a thin blanket tonight ...we are simple folk.

We lost power for a good part of the day...it’s amazing how quiet everything is when there isn’t any electricity humming through the house...we were having a cold drink at the kitchen counter and I could feel this stillness all around me...I felt that it wasn’t there before I saw it.....got me to thinking.

I am sorry for my lack of comments of late I’m usually pretty bad but lately I have been downright aweful ........to be honest I really wont be sorry when the whole thing is over........good thing....I have been told that there is more work for me in the New Year...happy about that.
