Beside Herself
Whilst I do the man thing; outwardly calm, Mrs S is so excited, as of course am I.
Our children are on the way home, Sam left Beckton in East London by train this morning heading for Chatham. Joshua finished at lunchtime, collected her from the station at lunch time and they drove down.
One of the joys of paying my children’s mobile telephone bills and sharing the account is that I can ‘track’ them on Where’s My Phone so no need to phone each other I can simply look.
Almost seven hours after they set off they arrived at the Royal Cornwall Hospital to deliver a Christmas latte to Muma who was still working.
Home at last to a “good to see you from Dad” and a demented dog who couldn’t decide who to jump on first.
Muma’s ‘babies’ are home, now it’s Christmas.
