The Big Gate

Our second day in Berlin. We started at the Neues Museum first, famed for it's bust of the Queen Nefertiti.

Our next sight was the east Side Gallery, once the Berlin wall and now the longest open air gallery in the world. (first extra)

On our way back to our hotel we walked past the Marx and Engels statue in the Marx Engels Forum, a public park n the central Mitte district of Berlin. (second extra)

The main image is of the Brandenburg Gate at night. 

This evening we also took in another Christmas market, at Gendarmenmarkt, but found it too busy so headed back to our favourite near our hotel. Finishing off the day with Gluhwein of course!
