Please Close The Gate

I think it would be difficult to open!

This is the gate on the infants school Sharon went to - closed in July 1989 and still shut. The building seems remarkably intact, but I expect it won't reach the 30th anniversary of closure as planning permission has been put in for a large retirement complex on this and the neighbouring vacant police station. It'll be sad to see it demolished, but equally, it's a shame it's been allowed to get into this state.
