Snack stop

I love the array of things on display in supermarkets in other countries. Convenience stores in Bangkok remind me of the ones I saw in Tokyo. About 50% of the products are hard to recognise to an Englishman, even one who has previously lived in Asia. Lots of seaweed snacks, unidentifiable dried fruits and a huge range of drinks containing grass jelly.

It has been fun wandering about Bangkok's shops, deciding how brave to be when snacking. I didn't always stick to Coke and Mentos. Only sometimes.
