Choose Joy

I had a great photographing her. I didn't know how to do the "connection" part so I let my dog handle that. She loves dogs, wants a dog, and loved petting and walking mine. I took some quick "safety" shots just in case I couldn't succeed at what I wanted to do with the thought that they could be printed and fit next to the similar ones of her mom. Then to the low key portraits! It was so much easier than I was anticipating. I practiced "fill light" with a gold reflector and it worked beautifully. It was hard to manually focus with that amount of light though. Fortunately I took hundreds. I love digital photography.

She had a great time. I had a great time. Her mother was clearly enjoying that her daughter was having a great time and was very nice to my dog -who took some time to settle down because it was all so exciting.

You have to angle your monitor to see this correctly or the hair just blends into the backdrop. I know Lightroom and Photoshop allow you to put in characteristics from a printer to make sure something prints correctly, but I don't think Luminar does and I think it would be hard to print this with the hair differentiated from the background.

Thank you for the hearts. I don't think I've gotten hearts before.
