The Spirit of Christmas

I tried to save the best for last. This is a close up of the "the spirit of Christmas Angels" in Regent Street with a collage in extra showing the overall effect. The design is based on the very first lights ever put up in Regent Street which was angels playing trumpets. I think they are astoundingly beautiful.
It is forecast to rain on and off all day so l have no excuse not to crack on with Christmassy things that can be done in advance - cranberry sauce, trifle etc.

On another note, the family managed to meet up at Gatwick and should be in Vancouver now, poor D-I-L No.1 must be exhausted after 24 hours in the air.
