Bengeo 19

Having seen Waxwings up in Scotland at Morrisons Car Park, Stirling they're now down south in reasonable numbers, and with blue skies for hopefully decent photos we headed to a local flock at 47 The Avenue, Bengeo, Hertford. They weren't there when we first arrived but within quarter of an hour the regular flock of 19 turned up in their favoured tree.

We returned home via Bramfield Churchyard in the hope of Hawfinches and were not disappointed - three brief sightings one of which I fired off a few shots (photographic!) at. With all the branches in the road to confuse the auto focus and taking into the sun it took a lot of Photoshopping to prove it was a Hawfinch. I'll spare you that shot and bring you 5 of the Bengeo 19 with their nice blue sky instead.
