Memories

Today we had a walking tour of Kuala Lumpa ending with a tour of the city gallery. It was a history of Kuala Lumpa past present and looking into the future.
One of the reasons we came here was to retrace some of the places my M in L lived as a child. Her father was the manager of the Mercantile bank of India in various countries but in the 1930’s he was in Kuala Lumpa. The building on the right in this picture is where he worked!
We are now in the airport waiting for a flight to New Zealand where we are spending Christmas with our daughter, son in law and two little grandsons!
