Are you feeling Christmassy?

To be honest, I don't think that Peggy Sue really feels the festive spirit and this rather frivolous collar was worn but briefly.  In fact if Daughter #2 had not come round (PS is actually her cat)  we would not have got it on at all.  No matter, it went on and stayed on long enough for  a photoshoot with only a medium supply of Dreamies needed for coercion purposes.
This morning Mr MC and I went to Waitrose to collect our turkey and do what we hope (but won't be) the final round of supermarket shopping.  So busy was it, that there was even a long queue for those of us self scanning!  As we take it in turns to host Christmas Day with Mr MC's brother's family it does mean that every other year we get to relax rather more fortunately.
I'm now off to the ice the cake (and very sorry that JazzyB's  Great Blippish bakeoff  didn't get off the ground this year -  Jazzy, we miss you)  and then a reasonably early night before our final prep tomorrow.
