Celebrity rail

We went through to Stockbridge to visit the market and pick up a few bits and bobs - including visiting SB's stall where we heard some bad news. Dammit. Calmed down a bit by going along to Inverleith pond where we were able to visit the famous Inverleith water rail - handsome little bird. It has many gentleman followers, who wear camouflage gear and carry yuge lenses.

Walked back to Leith along the Water (apart from the bit between Newhaven Rd and Anderson Pl which is still closed) and saw some highly entertaining goosander action.

Later on Malc and Syuze dropped by for a cuppa and a slice of cake. I gave them a sprig of mistletoe to do with whatever they will.
