Christmas Music

Buying some presents yesterday I asked the young lady at the counter how she was finding the daily musical mix of Bing, Frank, Perry, George, Noddy, Roy .... etc. She said she got into her car at the end of each day and put on heavy metal, and loud. A sentiment I can quite understand.

On the other hand, I love good carols, sung well. And the tradition of communal singing. Another festival of nine lessons and carols this evening, friends in the church choir. And we met their son, our godson, just arrived from London. A fun evening.
