sad day

today kristin left zambia. sad times.

as usual, ndola airport seemed to make it their aim to make the whole procedure as painful as possible. i'd love to read their staff training handbook. i'm pretty sure lesson 1 reads 'how to annoy as many white people as possible during potentially emotional situations'. lesson 2 is probably 'never give anyone your name'. clearly they know what's coming!

anyway, here she is....looking quite cheery considering the situation. and check out the union jack again (shhhhhh, don't tell anyone but she is really an american y'all).

i've got a funny feeling that this isn't goodbye to zambia forever :-)
