Purple swamphen

Very relaxed Christmas preparations today—my son, his wife and mum-in-law are are hosting Christmas this year.  Plenty of time for an evening wander.  Blip (and extra) of a purple swamphen—there are quite a few of them living in the reserve across the way.  Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas, and joy in the year ahead.
