Son and granddaughter

A busy day getting ready for Christmas.  Odds and end to sort out.  We had the neighbours in for a cosy evening in front of the fire last night and they stayed rather late so it was a slow start this morning!  The family called by for a cup of tea on their way back from the town.  Little I delighted at our Christmas tree for a few seconds before rushing off to look at other things.
I always look forward to the quiet time after Christmas and New Year.
