Melon and Lemon, Hospet, INDIA

Today, we drove some 170 km. north to Hospet and settled into our (much nicer) hotel.  Hospet is close to Hampi, with its 400+ temples.  If you don't have your own temples, what do you do to compete with the neighbours?  Right -- you create your own eye-catching attractions.

A nice lazy day.  The highway was under construction, at least 90% of it was, but no matter, it was a nice day.  Ate, showered, napped, took a stroll, internetted and WiFied, and AW is pretty much his usual self now.  The menu is also more varied so I think we'll be fine.
