The old brickworks

It's been a beautiful day so JJ and I went down to the Marston Vale forest centre for a walk.  We were told there had been sightings of a Bittern in the reed beds, but not having a map with us we ended up looking out over Stewartby lake where the old brickworks used to be.  There are actually four chimneys but I have accidentally hidden one of them.

I've added three extras because I still have a few to use up before the end of the year.

Out to friends for dinner tonight so I'll wish you a very happy Christmas and hope Santa brings you all the presents you asked for.  I do believe I'm starting to get into the spirit of it at long last.
