A Berlin Christmas

Each has their own tradition. Mine in Berlin dates back to 1987 and Christmas Eve near the Europa Centre & this amazing fountain ( now switched off for winter ) The wonderful Berlin Police Orchestra ( sadly now disbanded ) were playing and made the season very special with the Cornish Floral Dance .Not once but twice ! Then the magic of Germany . At just gone 3pm all went so quiet, the stalls had closed , shops had shut at 2pm and a blanket of tranquility covered the city. Today, 31 years later I was there to feel the same wonder. No words can describe it. A link is to the Floral Dance .Not by the Police Orchestra but by a Danish band who came out one Pfingsten to the church I attend. They played it  & their kindness meant I was able to put on YouTube .
