Blood Donor

Christmas Eve, so the thing to do is show up for a spot of blood donoring at the local village hall.  Absolutely packed out and I contributed my "armful" (see the link below to Tony Hancock's 1961 sketch - https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5hjsjq).

Lay back while it all happened and then the usual cup of tea - with a mince pie on this festive occasion.

The staff start packing up at 13:00, drive back to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and hopefully home to their families for 16:30.  Back on the 27th at another location for another collection.

I wonder who will have mine this time?  Funny sort of Christmas present!
