Afternoon tea at The Guildhall

Z wanted to do some last minute Christmas shopping, and we had previously ascertained that The Guildhall would be open.  They do not take bookings (at least officially) but had suggested, when I rang them a week or so ago to check that they would be open, that we should ring this morning to make sure they "kept enough stock".  I did that, and in fact they had reserved us a table.

The Guildhall is a medieval building, now repurposed, like so many other buildings in Norwich.  It was nicely done - see the extra for another view.  Despite living near Norwich for some 24 years, I have to admit to having never been inside.  Sometime when it is less fraught I'd like to go back and have a better look around.
