St Mary's
A chilly morning, which started with a run. As I ran out along the railway path, the moon was still glowing in the sky, it would have made the perfect blip. My run back was rather treacherous along ungritted roads and paths. The boys went to church with the cakes, and I joined them later. It was lovely to catch up with a few friends. BB was then going swimming with some of his friends and I had to go in search of an address for a totally random Scout post card – the last one we had to deliver. It was probably about as far away from our house as we could get, which is ironic as we were mostly delivering in the streets around us.
TT and I pottered, doing a few chores. Later in the afternoon, I had a piece of chocolate cake that had been left over from the church party – and which a friend had put in my cake box. It was delicious. I need that recipe.
TT made a lovely chicken and vegetable curry for tea and later on I did a little bit of wrapping, before we watched Casino Royal. As ever I dozed off, so still haven’t seen the end of it.
I walked by St Mary’s Parish Church as I went on my mission to deliver the Scout post.
