Christmas Fayre Fever!

Well, it's started! Christmas Fayre fever has kicked in. Yesterday's snow has half melted and then frozen solid to make everywhere incredibly crunchy and slippy. Myself and J took the dogs for a walk and at times it was more like skating than walking. Not in a graceful way; more in a lot of mad arm movements in an attempt to stay upright and possibly the odd swear word sort of way. The dogs effortlessly coped in the snow and ice and probably had a good laugh at us as we floundered.
After a quick trip for supplies and dropping off parcels it was home to get organised. Gingerbread loaves and Summer fruit jam for the baking stall and a " 12 more days of school till the holidays" iced gingerbread for home consumption.
It has just started to snow again.....well, at least we'll not starve!
