Silver Sea

The morning was pleasant enough for a walk along Gurnard Esplanade around the time of high tide. (or one of them as the Solent has the unusual phenomenon of double high tides.)

I was experimenting with a newly acquired 'Big Stopper' ND filter which enabled an exposure of 30secs. This had the effect of merging the incoming waves into a soft blur.
