Our pretty little tree

Christmas trees mean homeliness and warmth to me.

Having Pete staying with me this year I'm really excited to have a tree we can share. Yesterday I went to suss out the forest at the top of Ladbroke and fell for this little fellow. I will call him Douglas as he's a Douglas Fir.

Pete and I went back this morning to pick him up.

As he has grown up in a pot he will live for quite a while.
