Borscht!

Today Krissy and I went downtown to get dinner because the night before while we perused "This is why you're fat." it was decided that we wanted borscht. After some searching on the internet we found a place called the "Java Man Cafe", which didn't seem very Russian at all, but we had to go for it.

To be short, it was awesome.

There was a Russian version of MC Hammer's, "Can't Touch This" playing as we ate our borscht which was served to us by a man who spoke poor english in a thick accent and didn't ask me if my coffee was okay, "because he knew it was". Oh, and the borscht was delicious.

The rest of the night was your average Friday, some kids performed on campus which was a good time. So much talent in the world, its kind of sad that so much of it is never known on any large scale, but I think we are definitely slowly entering a world where anyone can make it. It's pretty cool stuff.

I feel like this has been the most diary-esque entry of mine in a while, but I guess I'm just in that kind of mood.
