Merry Christmas!
Can you tell what I got for Christmas?! This is the family putting up with me organising them to fit in the Lensball.
The day began with fun marshalling at Park run, where lots of folks had turned out in festive attire and didn't mind the murk or the mud at all. I was tailwalking so I donned my Mother Christmas outfit and stripy legs and walked behind the slower movers, chatting with marshalls and ho-ho-hoing occasionally.
Then it was home to relax awhile before we were all employed as sous-chefs to Becky who was in charge of Christmas dinner. Pete and Jen arrived, having walked over the moor from home and there was much joshing and catching up before we tucked in. We walked off our lunch with a circuit of St Ives and now we are cosy in front of the fire. Tony has taken Pete and Jen home before they fell asleep and Becky and Rob are working on the fiendish jigsaw, which is a vintage map prompting questions such as 'Where is the Sargasso Sea?'
We didn't quite manage the Bohemian Rhapsody blip I was trying for so there will be much more practice to come with this new bit of kit!
Hope you all had the Christmas you wanted!
