DEAD EYES...

Poor old CC's doing his best to be present, but his body wants to be horizontal! Meanwhile the lovely S is slapping foie gras on to toast & she & I enjoyed it, accompanied by Sake provided by Hirokatsu, our friend who died last week - we toasted him &  it worked very well.

It all started off with the (extra) pumpkin soup which was really pretty good according to S & yours truly - CC & Mateo couldn't taste a thing...

Then came delicious wild duck roasted along with potatoes, parsnips & pears & CC & Mateo went back to bed!!

After mousse au chocolat & coffee, presents were exchanged & everyone was pleased - then S & I hugged & I got the bus back home!
