Colin likes his French cars. Not content with a collection of 2CVs he now has a DS.
I can't say I know much about cars in general, but I have always suspected the French employed a little juju in their design processes. For example: '1955 saw the introduction of the DS, the first full usage of Citroën's now legendary hydro-pneumatic self-leveling suspension system'. Perhaps Henry Ford and his accountants missed a design trick, they might then have come up with the strap-line "you can have it any color as long as it's got a hydro-pneumatic self-leveling suspension system". Ford might have developed a cult following...
