A gin is not just for Christmas...

... but this one feels especially good tonight.

I feel lucky to have had a peaceful day. The kids were pretty chilled. I even had a late morning bath with good coffee and a few chapters of Sir Benfro's The Broken World. His books are great... I'd never read anything about dragons before, but considering everything that's happening this year, it's been pretty soothing. 

Folks dropping by. Too much food. Dinner with tunes. Fire on. Feeling sleepy.
