Worlds largest whisky collection

Finished early as I was allowed to go out with work tonight. Over the past month or so we have been having visits from our customers who have bought our new machine. These have been from a conglomerate of small opticians from Australia and America call Vision Source.

As a company we have been paying for them to come over and see the factory and receive some training on the unit. As part of the trip they are taken to the Whisky Experience on the Royal Mile for a tour and some food.

As there was a free space on this trip I was invited along. The tour has changed since I last went and the ride now shows how whisky is made instead of the history of whisky.
As part of the experience you get to see the worlds largest collection of whisky. Bought by Diageo in 2008 for an undisclosed some from a Brazilian man called Claive Vidiz. He had spent 35 years building up the collection of 3384 bottles, all unopened.
