Staying put

Off I went to work this morning with my suitcase, ready for a few days in Luxembourg. By 9am after a couple of meetings, the trip was cancelled. Such is the nature of projects sometimes - lastminute.com! I felt a little sorry for the analyst who was accompanying me as it was his first business trip abroad - I remember the excitement and nerves that brings! My role in the project is coming to an end soon and things are winding down. It feels fantastic to take things at a slightly slower pace, and I'm hoping that will continue up to the Christmas holidays. Tonight I will be mainly putting my feet up and watching pre-Christmas TV, laptop is staying closed!
