Wabbits!

This is Boefje and Wolfie.

We inherited Boefje, the lop-eared rabbit on the left, from my niece-in-law when she moved home and wasn't allowed to keep her any more.

Rabbits are social animals, and although Boefje lived with our (now deceased) chickens, she really needed to be with one of her own type, so we went to the rabbit animal shelter and picked up Wolfie (on the right, the lionhead rabbit). 

As I mentioned, our chickens are no more; they were old, and lived out their days in the run. Come Springtime, we intend to get some more.

But, for the time being, Boefje and Wolfie have the run of the run.
