Hobble.

This morning started with an 8am class at Lafayette. I really didn't think I was going to be able to get up in time. I've been feeling so tired and lethargic this week. My class was shortened to half an hour because the proviseur came in to tell the children about an exchange with the Czech Republic, I was very jealous because I really want to visit prague. Maybe I can sneak along on the trip. He made the same speech to my class in the afternoon, so overall that made my day a lot shorter!

I had two classes in between, both of listening to classes do presentations; Cristel's class were pretty good, but Isabelle's class were terrible, can't help wondering if this is a reflection on their teaching or just chance as to which pupils they get.

Went to see Miriam the nurse in between my lessons to get my knee sorted out, it looks much better now it's been cleaned up but she put a bandage on it that was so tight I couldn't bend my leg, hardly ideal for the 3 flights of stairs to both my apartment and my classes!

In the evening I went to the library and got through 60 pages of Therese Desqueyroux. Can't say I understood much of the 60 pages but the effort was there. Afterwards I was meant to go to the swimming pool but, partly because of my knee, partly because I was just feeling tired and couldn't be bothered, I didn't go. Instead, I came home and made myself a many course dinner - soup, fried camembert, cereal and tea. A group skype standing in for girly night finished off the evening. Think an early night is in order!
