Backblip: Little Lost Soul

We have twice walked up to the Lighthouse at Cape St Vincent. This wee doggie greeted us on our first visit. I wanted to bring him home.

He seemed less bold on our second visit but was very friendly with Nell. Oddly, for Nell, she took his overtures quite calmly. This is A SIGN! We should definitely take him home...

There are  a number of stray dogs wandering the cliff-top scrub near the lighthouse. As there are fast food vans servicing the visitors, I daresay that the dogs do well enough for scraps. Somebody at the lighthouse complex puts dog food out too but as the lighthouse was closed that day I tried to offer some of my chips. He wouldn't come close enough to eat them.

Mr L points out, very reasonably, that we already have a dog and two rescued cats in our little 6 metre van and there is therefore no room for another dog. 

But he's only small... and so very sweet. True enough, he's mangy, but we can fix that. I mean "could".
