You can tell lots about a household by looking at their Christmas tree - and what they choose to decorate it with.

This is one of the baubles on my brother Ron and family's tree in Edinburgh - and apparently it was given to them in 1983 by a good friend. The one in extra was given to Ron (a doctor) by his children - because 'it looked just like him'.

So lovely to spend time with the family . . . . . . . . . .
