Boxing Day or Stefanitag

December 26 is St Stephen‘s Day in Austria, named for the first Christian martyr. No shops are open so most people stay home or spend it with family. We were invited by some friends for coffee and cake (yes, more cake) in the afternoon which was lovely but i think i am going to have to wire my jaws together tomorrow or buy bigger clothes. Looking out our friends‘ window later there was an amazing sky but i couldn’t capture the colour properly. I tried with my camera and iPhone but it eluded me. Where the sky is showing white it was almost a turquoise blue. I used the pano setting on my iPhone for BobsBlips wide angle Wednesday challenge.
