Another doorway

After all the doorways I've blipped recently, I thought I should show you my doorway.  This is my sole decoration, a watercolor painting Lex made for me some years ago.  I like the delicacy and the colors.  I have a number of her other paintings hanging in my apartment, but they are all too big for the purpose. It's been interesting to see how her interest and her skills have changed over the years.  In my bedroom I have a painting she did about 45 years ago, in dramatic acrylic colors.  Others are from her watercolor period and from her more current work in pastels. Recently she's been doing some beautiful detailed drawings.  I love it when she's caught up in the excitement of a new work.
