Standing in the sun

My washing machine broke down the day before Christmas Eve so I had to wait in today for the repair man while thechimp, Penally and Mislet went out for a walk. Unfortunately it was not good news and my washing machine needs a new motor. I checked the invoice and found that I bought it a year and 9 months ago. The repair man also said that it might not be worth repairing and that it might be a few days before a new motor can be obtained because most places shut down over the break. :-(

After hearing the bad news, Mary and I joined thechimp and the others in Peebles. Even though its become milder and damper, the weather has been lovely again today. I spotted this little group of people on my way back home
