Polesden parkland

There was a steady stream of visitors making their way up the sweeping drive to Polesden Lacey this morning, brought out by a mild sunny morning. It must have been very busy in the house and garden but I didn't go that far. I was looking for a blip, and stopped on the approach road. I have always enjoyed the scene across the parkland pastures with the clumps of trees. This morning the remnants of the morning mists hung around the trees. A very English scene.
It was warm enough when I got home to tempt me into the garden for a bit of tidying up.
