Comes in handy

I knew that the flowers I bought to adorn the dining room table over Christmas might well come in handy as an emergency blip. I didn't really expect them to serve as blip material faute de mieux because of toothache... But there we are.

Since back-blipping my washed out day yesterday this morning I've continued to improve. The pain has come and gone a bit, but on the whole has greatly subsided, although my cheekbone is still very tender. I'm still greatly annoyed by the dentistry I received, but I've held off phoning them until I feel calm enough to deal with them.

As I wasn't up to working today, I did at least sort out the raw material for my tax return, which I can send to the accountant tomorrow. And then cooked a tasty chicken Thai curry this evening. I'm even up to watching a bit of TV, and I've had absolutely no inclination to fall asleep, in strong contrast to yesterday. Hopefully I won't have trouble sleeping tonight. I did take a wander up the street to drop off a parcel that needs to be returned whence it came, in order to get some fresh air.
